David is a successful multimedia artist who has been recognized and shown internationally. His special fondness is for colored pencil, given the fine detail that is possible. David strives to achieve a characteristic of his drawings where the closer you look the more you see. He continues to explore new ways of defining the detail, reflection and realism. The trompe l'oeil genre is very appealing to David because of its challenge.

He has been juried into CPSA Annual Exhibitions in 2008 and 2009, and his digital art has been displayed online by such notable sites as the BBC and the International Association of Astronomical Artists. Over the years, the largest percent of his work has been commissioned drawings for businesses and private illustrations for individual collections.

David is a member of the Colored Pencil Society of America (CPSA) and a member of the local district chapter in Oregon.
